Your stay begins with a walk along a 50-metre boardwalk through the native bush, leading you to a private cottage hidden amongst the trees. Inside, large windows and skylights bring the surrounding bush and sky into the living space.
The open-plan living area includes a full kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge, with views into the mānuka bush from every corner. During the day, natural light streams through the skylights. At night, settle into the lounge and look up at the stars.
A woodburning fireplace keeps the cottage warm and cosy on cooler Ruapehu evenings, while the full-width deck creates a seamless connection between indoors and the surrounding landscape.
